Always so awkward right?What we’re supposed to say is, “your presence and blessings are the greatest gift of all”… but honestly, that feels a bit lame. No offence to every wedding website ever.The truth is, we’re incredibly lucky to have the most amazing people in our lives. People who have gone above and beyond to help us pull this wedding together. We’ve got friends sewing bunting, others making garlands, carrot peelers up the wazoo, and someone is quite literally butchering a lamb.All this to say, this wedding really is about the people.We know people are catching flights, taking time off work, organising childcare, buying saris, and praying petrol prices come down because we decided to get married in the absolute wops. And all of that is so, so genuinely appreciated, we truly couldn’t ask for anything more.Every single one of you has been part of our story already. We’ve made memories with all of you, and now we get to make even more. That means far more to us than filling a gift table ever could.Also, we live overseas, so we won’t be able to take home any boxed gifts, even though we’d love to cart back an air fryer.
